My name is Narada Vantari. Welcome to my homepage with links to my various other sites.
I am a graphic artist, musician, and flash web animator, based in the Byron Bay region of NSW Australia.
I am sometimes available for projects, large or small, flash or html, especially if they are inspiring.

I particularly like working with musicians, artists, or other creative individuals to make something beautiful and uniquely theirs.
Flash is capable of doing almost anything one can imagine with interactive web graphics. You will find many of my projects linked from here.

I believe that the computer as an instrument for playing with animated geometries, colour, sound, and symbols, can be the medium for a new and powerful spiritual artform that will accelerate the urgently needed evolution of the human being. I am also working on a major long-term project of my own using Macromedia Flash to make an interactive book of stories poetry imagery etc, that will also be a windows desktop and screensaver.

 

 

Sacred Geometry:

You will find that much of my work is symmetrical and designed in proportion to the computer screen itself, which very few people seem to realize is usually in the ratio of the Pythagorean rectangle, i.e. 3 x 4 with a diagonal of 5 units.
The ratio of 3 to 4 to 5 is also the ratio of the frequencies of the three notes in a major chord, and the foundation of western musical theory for 2500 years or more!

Lately I have become interested in the golden mean ratio, fivefold symetry, the dodecahedron, and the structure of the DNA. More on this here

(or business opportunities ) and you have not checked out the medical breakthrough of 'glyconutrients' I highly recommend you contact me to talk about them.
I really believe this is something everyone should take the time to investigate.

The best example of my web work to date is the intro movie to the Ambaji site. It's a meditation on the Goddess in her many forms, cosmic, planetary, human, symbolic. Ambaji is a name for the Goddess of creation in her gentler form, and also a wellness centre in Byron Bay.
There is a version with music for broadband but its waiting for me to set it up again properly :-(


P.S. The movie will play very slowly on anything less than say a PII 600,
especially if you have your screen resolution set to more than 800 x 600.
It is a meditation, so speed is not critical anyway :-)
Shrinking your browser window will probably speed it up if it is too slow.
